Anyone on here going? I went last week and it was actually a blast. One of the better car events I've been to this year. Racing got cut short due to a BBF white notch on spray grenading on the track.

Im probably going to be there. Cant take my car but I will still go. I agree, good turn out last week. To me it seems this thing is getting better and better. But still, I dont think Ive seen any of the big dogs from here there yet. But I dont know most of you guys. Maybe a $1000 purse will bring them out. Better bring their A game. I know they will.

I wanted to go tonight real bad, unfortunitely I do not believe I can convince the wife. It is not only our Anniversary, it is also our daughters 2nd Birthday, yes she was born on our anniversary, what are the odds on that?
I wanted to take my Mustang roller down and advertise it for sale.

Well I know I wont have a prayer at winning KOTS but I think we may head down Thursday with the car if the weather is decent. Should be fun either way.

It doesn't cost any more money and for the pay out its worth trying.

Steve, they have another class starting up not this week but next, but it's for cars 11.50 and slower. You could always sand bag.

I'm pretty sure it was your car I saw on the way home from TNL at speedway. Car looks nice. I was in the red stang, but was having a bad night b/c the woman was mad and I didn't get the parts in that I've been waiting for lol

Yeah I seen you. Well as I called it before I even went. I didnt have a prayer in hell. I went 2 rounds and got my ass handed to me. And I was fortunate enough to get the bye run in the first round. They must have felt sorry for my slow ass 11 second turd. I was the only guy I think that was N/A besides Charlie polly. I may be wrong on that though. I'm not sure what the buick and the big block mustang had under the hood. I'm pretty sure the big block mustang was powered by chevy but not sure on any power adder. Either way I had fun and thats all that matters. The track was terrible for a 26X8.5 stick car. I normally leave anywhere from 5600-6000 during normal TNT and at UMTR races. I was leaving at 4800 last night along with other suspension changes and was still blowing the tires 1st thru 2nd gear. I couldnt leave any softer cause the car would bog to bad. Can you say 1.6's and 1.7's 60's. I lost almost 5 tenths overall last night. So with that being said, I am done with KOTS. I am going to have to run Prince of the streets which is a new class starting next week. 11.50-12.98. I will fit just fine in that class on that track under the same circumstances. If the car hooks and goes then I will have to pull out the SB card.

yea your car ran nice. I think when I get everything finished this year, I will be the only v6 mustang running for any class, much less POTS. I believe I had (since the kit is removed for now) the only FI'd 2010 v6 to date, which I imagine will change

I knew I had to get the jump!! It still didn't matter though. I guess it looked good for leaving him sit there sleeping> I had him by a car right off the start for about the first 80 or so feet and then he handed me my a$$!! He ran out of gear I beleive up top and I was catching him after the 1/8 but not quick enough. He got me by a car or two at the stripe. Like I said I knew going in I was toast. But I had a good time and I will get in that 11.50 class next time, now that I know what my car will run on a unprepped track spinning. Not sure if I will make it down for the first one or not. We have a race next week down at Owingsville, KY. And I am 1st in points in UMTR right now and cant afford to have something stupid happen. But I will make it back down to run again and hang out with everyone!!!

We had the maroon coupe with the black hood there. It just has a mild big block Ford in it thats naturally aspirated. It was a good time lastnight!!

Your car looked and ran great lastnight. I walked through the pits and took a glance at it. I was going to stop and chit chat and interduce myself but you had your hands full with people at that time. But it was good to see you out and making some passes. Really bad ass car.

I guess I am going to go down tonight and try my luck at POTS. The last time I was down there I ran two 11.51's and a 11.53 to the stripe. As long as the track and weather is similar to that night I should fair well. But if the track is better or weather is better then I guess I will lower my shift points a couple hundred. If nothing else I am going to use it as a TNT night to make sure my car is fixed for our final UMTR race this Saturday. Tonight is the last TNL for the year.

Does your car hook at all Steve? My car pulls 1.6 60 foots and am wondering if I want to head down there tonight or wait till tomorrow for some track prep. Im shooting for 11's on spray.

Well I normally run 11.20's-11.30's so no it doesn't hook very well. I usually launch at 5800-6000 RPM's. The last outing I was having to leave at 4600RPM's to get the car to not blow the tires all thru first gear.

Had a blast last night. I managed to go runner up in POTS. I had to race SloRice on CSS best 2 out of 3 at the end. He has a EVO that runs 10's. He took the 1st one and I took the 2nd one. I had him covered the whle track on the 3rd one and lifted just a smidge to soon. He beat me at the stripe .0074. I ran a 11.59@112 and he ran 11.56. All in all it was fun but I dont normally sandbag and obviously i'm no good at it either. Most of all I beleive Shannon and Adam from S&M got my car fixed for me. Thanks again you 2 I appreciate it.

You did an awesome job lastnight. I was glad to see you doing good. I know it sucks having to let up. As usual you car looked, sounded, and performed awesome. One of my favorites. I was pulling for you to win very hard. It would have been awesome to see the Mustangs sweep TNL on its final night.
