anyone ever put a carb on a 4.6? trying to see what all is involved....

I've seen a couple of them now. I think basically all you need is the right intake and a belt driven distributor. It used to be a huge custom ordeal and you had to make your own intake, but i'm almost certain Edelbrock even make one now.

Pm redsrides. He's done a few. Or get with Brandon Alsept he runs a carbd 4.6 in his race car.

The MSD mod 6 will control the ignition without any sort of distributor set up. For the 4V with 99+ style heads you can use the Sullivan intake. For a 2v you can use the Edelbrock Vic Jr. intake.

If a person does one they need to add a Distributor setup in my opinion. I hate the mod 6 with the COP stuff.

Just stop by the shop and you can take a look at my 2V carb setup and ask any questions ;)

Oh Benny's car is slick you did a damn good job laying the paint on it ;)
