Stick Shift Nationals, Edgewater Sports Park Q8, QS & SS (Cleves, OH) Sat. Sept 17th
I will post gauranteed payouts when I find out. Last year it was $1200 for Quick Stick and $500 for Street Stick. But those numbers where larger due to car count.
But this year they have added a Quick8 class. So there are three classes.
Bad thing about this is, its the same day of the Fall Shootout.

Any street car that leaves with a manual clutch. Street Stick.
A dumb question is the one you don't ask.

There are a couple of guys that drive there neons, 15-16 sec cars.
Its bracket racing with no automatics.

You don't have to worry about how fast they are, or how slow you are, it's bracket racing. All races should be dead even at the stripe.

i may sound dumb but, i just pick a time and dial in say a 13.0 and as long as i run that im good?

That and your reaction time to the tree. Add the two together, as long as you cross the line first, you win.

You'll be able to make a couple test passes kevin, be sure to give yourself a little cushion(ie:you run 13.0's, dial in at a 12.95 or 12.90's) Because if you go rounds, the temps are going to drop as the night goes on, unless you know your car really well and have a lot of seat time and can be super consistent. Like the guy above said, reaction time is the key in bracket racing. An .050 or better light and consistency should go rounds easily.

Kevin you should come out and join us. You will have a good time. Like someone else said. You will get 2 time trials and based off what you run in those is what you should dial your car in at. Take weather and track conditions into consideration as well. Cut a half way decent light and run your # or damn close to it and you should have no problems. It doesn't matter how fast you are. Trust me I just got beat 2 weeks ago in Columbus by a sandbagging ass clown driving a 18.00 second neon. Well that's what he dialed anyways. But that's another whole story.

I can't wait, one of my more favorite events of the year! Nothing like a balls out, wheels up, giving it your all, kind of racing!
