Are you able to re-stall a converter my neighbor has? His current setup is a BBC 427 at about 12-1 compression all motor. Going in a chevy c-10 pickup.

His current converter situation is a t400 with about a 5000 stall. He wants about 3-3500.Any thing you can do with it? Or suggestions on stall speed I could tell him?

Ultimately the answer is yes, until I see it I cannot tell you how much or if it is even worth messing with. I am positive it can be fixed one way or another.
