Putting the car back together tonight

Well I started on this in november of last year and I was just doing a simple heads, and tranny swap."Stock to GT40p" Now about $3k later I have went from heads and tranny to a fully built c4,F303 cam,Hedman longtubes,32 to 60lb injectors,GT40x heads with scorpion rockers,S-trim vortech 8 to 15lbs of boost and last but not least methanol injection.Pretty much a overnight job turned into completely tearing the car apart and building it. Glad I have finally got everything and it will be getting back together this weekend. If your bored and in the vandalia area come help lol...Ill post pics

Well got the hood mounted tonight. That was a learning experience. 2 guys that have never used zeus fasteners mounting a brand new hood. But it came out ver good and very straight so im happy. Car will be in paint sunday. Here are a few pics to update everyone on the progress. The paint was gloss black and actaully very straight for being 20yrs old, but i wasnt happy with a few fade spots from the florida sun. So i decided to strip it last month and have a buddy of mine work his magic. The car will be flat black on the top and gloss on the bottom.

Motor should be mostly together tomorrow just will need to buttom up some wiring im not to sure i need. I would like to eliminate any extra wires under the hood that i dont need. I want it to look a little cleaner than a bunch of electric tape and plug ends sticking out everywhere. This is my first build that i have done 100% of the work so its taking longer than expected but should be on the dyno by mid aug.

Looks like fun! You should polish that blower up some. I did with my vert and it looked a lot better.

Yea thanks mike. Lets see if they work as good as they look lol My dad usually helps me work on the car and has been working 7 days a week plus add in a cold and we didnt get jack done this weekend. Hopefully ill get it all together this sat and the tranny in on sunday. Ran into some issues with the pump on the c4 lineing up with the converter. Its all fixed now and we should be ready for the dyno before too long...

Thanks for all the comments.. All the body work had been done by my self pretty much. A buddy of mine was helping but has since disapeard when it came time to finish it and get it sprayed.. All i need to do know is get the fuel lines ran and get the supercharger on it. I have attempted it 3 time now and have had issues every time. This time i found out that who ever i bought the heads from drill the mounting holes on the front bigger and helo coiled them so the supercharger brackets do not match. Off to ACE hardware we go

Lets hope things go smooth this weekend and i can have this thing tuned before the 17th. I would like to do the race at tri state not that i have a chance in hell of winning it but i went to the last one and it was a good event... The wife cooking up something on the grill and me doing burnouts doesnt get much better in one day...
