Heard from the guy who built the truck, Andy had a young punk in a 11 camero try to race him the other day. Would loved to see the kids face while getting smoked by an 9000 pound truck.
Truck is sick with power. And just FYI Andy finished 4th in the Diesel Power Challenge this year. He was just one of ten that was picked out of over 10,000 entries for this years challenge.

Out at the challenge there was truck running in the low ten's. There is a superduty out of Florida that is a drag truck running in the 9's at about 7,000 pounds!

Andy is a really good guy. I did a fair amount of coating on his truck to get it ready for the mag shoot

Johnny does all the work on my truck. John works for Fuller and is a hell of a mechanic on the powerstrokes! If anyone in northern KY needs work done, PM me and I'll give you his number.

It's been done. The owner of NX Mike Wood put a duramax in a 94+ mustang. He ran it in Hot Rod's Drag Week and done several standing mile events. I think he got very close to 200mph in the standing mile. He also got like 32mpg during Drag Week. I think he has since sold it to build a diesel rail...but there was several articles about it written.

Not impressed with the Mustang . I seen it run during drag week very inconsistent . I have buddy with a Duramax 4x4 truck who was laying down 11.50 passes and was staying 11.50 to 11.53 after 5 passes . Truck would have ran faster but had a open rear diff and had to be milked off the line fairly easy .

Andy's times in Colorado. This I believe is about 2000 ft above sea level, so really bad air.
1/8 mile pulling a 10,000 trailer and bob-cat
11.014 @ 69.14mph equals 3rd place
1/4 mile empty
12.026 @ 114.26mph equals 6th place
hwp and tor
843.1 HP & 1,676.7 lb/ft
Pretty sure for the sled pull 300 ft was a full pull. Andy pulled it out the back door somewhere to well over 350 ft. He did get first in that.
Almost 1700lb/ft could be loads of fun in a 2800 lb car!
