After a week of thought I have decided I am going to throw in the towel on this project and focus on the cars I already have and all my other projects. What I have is a 1990 Mustang GT that I bought a couple months ago. The previous owner bought it from his brother in 1996 and owned it until I bought it a couple months ago. It was a bone stock car until 2001 when most of the current mods were done. The car had 108,000 miles on it when all of the parts were put on it. It currently has 122,000 miles and sat from 2006 to 2011. I still consider it to be a project. It needs a paint job. The body is overall in good shape and wouldn't need a lot of body work. It has little rust scabs on the lip of the hatch from where paint had peeled off. Be a very easy fix. The underside of the car is ultra clean and rust free but sadly the drivers side strut tower has rust. Not horrible, but needs repaired at some point. The rest of the car is far to solid to let that ruin it. The interior is still in good shape and would clean up even better than it already is. It does need a headliner. It was ruined from the sunroof leaking. The seal needs replaced. From what I have experienced it doesn't leak under normal raining conditions, just when pressure is on it like at the car wash. It does need replaced though. It has a Pioneer CD player with Rockford Fosgate coaxials throughout. It also still has the OEM Sunroof bag still in the hatch! The only modifications in the interior are a 5" Auto Meter Tach , Boost gauge and some Aluminum pedal covers. The rest is OEM Ford. Now to the fun stuff. Here is the parts list for the drivetrain in the car. I just did a tune up on it and fixed all the vacuum leaks. The car runs great but I think it has more in it. I just messed with it enough to make it run good but be very safe. I really think it could be a fundaily driver!
