New addition to my stable

I picked up a 01 lightning from my uncle who bought it new. The truck is 100% stock. Over all its a really nice truck, it needs a few things to make it right such as a new ground effect piece that has a hole in it, cracked fog lights and a center cap. I do believe this ones a keeper. It runs and drives like a new truck, the interior is in good shape and the paint is in great shape. Plans include tuner, lower pulley, cai, catback and lowering it a bit.

My silver lightning is still to date one of my favorites that i have had

pulley tune and cai should get you in the 12.s

i'd recommend a valve body for the trans too. pretty easy swap. Gregg Evans locally still builds them for about $200.

Problem is most tuners increase shift pressure for harder shifts, but it's bad on the trans. The valve body will be barely noticable at light throttle, but really hits hard at wot.

Yeah I will do minor things for now. How do i get ahold of Greg Evens? Ive read alot about his VB's. So far Im concentrating on cosmetics got the windows tinted 5 %, drop shackles but they arent installed yet and painting the wheels black. But i have installed a catback and CAI which seemed to help.
