Not sure if it was you or not. After your pass I saw a huge cloud of smoke at the finish. Your car ok.

I saw it too. I think I heard that it was the same thing as before, the belt came off and hit the oil like again and knocked it off. Beefcake, please correct me if I am wrong.

Belt broke and hit oil line. They fixed it and he drove it home.

Good deal. I threw a belt too. Much slower passes . I'm happy tthough I dropped a second from last year on suspension upgrades. Ran a 13.67 on a stock motor street tired 88 gt. Maybe ill get brave and hit the zex kit that's on it soon.

weve been trying some smaller pullies locally for a little more boost.

i went 10.10 last week with a 2.95 @ chicago, best at e20 was with a 2.85 @ 10.14

we went with a 2.70 last night, and moved it in a hole on the idler.

had to CRANK it on to get it on, it was stretched to the max. when the car shifts as hard as these do, the tensioner slams down, and as tight as it was, it literally snapped the greens gate in 1/2, just like last time.

trying to get that 20psi mark

next week going to try out the 2.85 again, probably going back to an et street as well

I wish, it's so tight in there, and the way the belts route there isn't any room, maybe a 1/2" total.

We're thinking about tt ati about trying to do a 7" balancer. Every little bit helps.
