Its cool to see it in all its original glory but that price is crazy. Soooo many other cars out there I would much rather have. I hate when people do things to this kind of car and think its worth 30,000 now. Not like it was that special to begin with. I could understand if it was a cobra or even a coupe. That car, to me is use less. To original to do any kind of mods and why drive it now? ruined a decent car. If I had money just to throw away I would have him meet me at edgewater and buy it and beat the ever loving hell out of it all day and raffle the thing off the next day.

Your right 30k is crazy money for a GT. There was a teal 93 Cobra with 44 miles and it ony sold for 25g last year

If your going to do this it needs to be a low production car. I know theres the odd ball cars that had quite a few numbers made and are still worth money but this just wasnt the right car. I am talking about cars from the 80's on up. You could have done this to a 65 mustang and it would be worth something. old cutlass, duster, dart, challenger, you get the idea. If its an 80's on up car the pickens are slim. I think as far as good beat to hell cars go that mostly stopped in 1980. Everything got cheap and electronics took over. If you had a check engine light come on in an 80 to 86 car you werent going to make it home.. My 86 buick century had a cel come on and within half mile it was done. lol 90's werent much better. cobra, grand national, and a few others would have worked. Sometimes when you just let something sit it just gets old.

I agree, it's like holding onto a 96' civic and selling it a few decades later for the same money.

As Larry the Cable Guy said, "it's like wiping before you poop, it just doesn't make sense".

that's a unique car, but for $30k cash (you can't finance 30k for a '93) I'd call beefcake and order a new GT!

the $ amount is ridiculous, but the car itself is sweet as hell

Its even a stick...seems like when cars like this one come up for sale they are always an auto.

I agree. I think a more reasonable price would be $18-20K. Even at that, I'd rather have a new one.

Well like they say, theres an ass for every seat. Some collector is bound to pick this up. Maybe not for 30k but Im sure someone will end up with it and itll most likely sit for the rest of its life. Booooooooo!!!!

Honestly if i were rich i would buy it for that much. There can't be that many of them left...so reasonable or not, in the long run that car is going to be worth quite a bit more than that, it may just take a long time to get your money back out of it.

For 30k you could buy 2 93 cobras with low miles... he will be buried with it,,,lol

such a shame to see a car like that has sit for as long as it has. Id have to ask, how good are seals, and other parts of the nature, they have to be drying out, unless it was kept in an environmentally controlled atmosphere.

who wants to bet he doesnt end up selling it cause he thinks he has a goldmine and while it is an extreamly nice ride he will leave it to his kid or grandson and he will trade it for a honda civic and wreck the civic and ride his bike to school. iv seen it to many times.

Never understood the concept of buying a car just to park it and look at it. Want a return on your money? Buy the Revell plastic model version, put it together, set it on a shelf and admire it and put hte remaining 20K+ in gold and bonds. Cobraman302 would likely agree that this guy's investment tactic (assuming that is what it was) was not a wise one. LOL!

well the guy has sat on it for this long might as well keep it the way it is for 20 more years and taked it to barret jackson. i dont understand how people can do this to a car. i know were a low production 1994 cobra vert is sitting with less miles and more plastic. the people think its a gold mine it hasnt been started in god knows how long the battery is dead and the original tires are flat and a cat sleeps on the top.
