2012 Shelby GT 500 with temp tags
Air Care was called to take two men to the hospital after a crash in Ross Township this morning.
The crash happened just after 8 a.m. at New London Road and Moore Road. Police say the driver went off the road and crashed a new Ford Mustang into an embankment. Witnesses driving just behind the Mustang say they didn't notice anything unusual just before the crash-no erratic driving or speeding.
The driver, 34 year old Matt Best, is a Butler County Sheriff Deputy, who was off-duty at the time of the crash. He has multiple compound fractures, and was flown by Air Care, along with his passenger, 68 year old Noah Woolum. Both are at University Hospital. Woolum is in critical condition. Best is in serious condition.

God bless.
speed does not appear to be a factor in the indicent. The retail price of the vehicle is approximately $63,000 and it comes with a 540 horsepower, V8 supercharged engine, according to a salesman at Interstate Ford, who declined to give his name.
The Shelby apparently overcorrected and went off the side of the road, according to prelimary investigation.

Maybe the cars behind them were friends and sticking up for one another. Nobody mentioned anything about oncoming traffic either. So why would he have to over correct so hard and quickly. For what info has been released, the facts just dont add up. Hopefully they both make a full speedy recovery from this.

Mom drives that road often and she said it could happen with ease, esp. with a new bridge that was just put in.

That's what I was thinking Steve...just doesn't add up!! But they never release all the facts. Well except for it was a mustang. Never hear it was a honda or a vw...always Mustang!!

They said he over corrected in the story he probably gave it some throttle and with that much hp it wouldn't take much, he was probably sideways and shit his pants.
