I installed manual brakes the cam was to big didnt have enough vacume for the brakes..

It's a spanking new 1989 lx. The only thing original is......nothing. you will see it around. I'm undecided on a few things still. But we built it to handle 700 horse so the weakest part of the car is the motor. And there is nothing stock in it.

but anyways this is a build we got the dominator running better and i learned a lil bit about carbs and fixed the window. im super happy i have fuel injection. i think ford should bring the t tops back.

17,000 is alot but you have to understand that the car was fucked. everything was replaced look at my build. project duke nukem. i just got my stuff from D&D Racing and that isnt cheap. if it can be done i had it done. the only way is over kill the block is the weakest part of the car and im cool with that. i can drive this car across the country beat most things on the road and my fox doesnt look like shit. and my plans are to go on another deployment and put a 408 in it. i will have the car the rest of my life and it wont ever rust again.

It seems like alot of money but when you start buying all new stuff it adds up quick. How many of us have built cars and dont even know how much you have in it, start adding up all that little dumb shit and you will figure out you have more in it than you think.

Progress Update!!!!!!!!!
-------------------------------------------------------------------
New Clutch & Flywheel are Installed apparently the last person that put a clutch in that car didn't know what he was doing...

1. The car didn't have a pilot bearing in it whatsoever
2. No dowl pins on the block to hold the dust shield
3. No dowl pins were on the old flywheel (perhaps why the clutch chattered)
4. Upon taking out the transmission i discovered that the sleeve that is over the input shaft of the trans had broken off were it bolts into the trans..
5. It had some ***** drive shaft bolts that someone got at the hardware store i unscrewed them all by hand.. (New bolts were ordered and installed)
6. When removing the transmission and bell housing I discovered that i only had 3 bolts holding in my transmission, So i bought new grade 8 botls and locking washers..
7. Good news though i discovered i have a UPR quadrant unfortunately for me its a 3hook quadrant which sucks ass to get the cable over...
8. Adjustable Clutch Cable installed..
9. Fixed the rear main seal since when i took out the bottom flywheel bolt it poured out oil lol
10. Installed my double hump cross member
11. Installed my fuel pressure gauge to help monitor fuel and prevent from running to rich
12. Solid motor mounts installed..
13. Installed my Mac Long tube Headers

So now i just gotta finish up some small things and she'll be good to go
Ill be sure to post up a new exhaust and idle vid when i get it going again!!

It's not a race car but ill be down for some friendly pulls.. Its got a junk ass 7.5 rear end in it so dont expect anything to spectacular.. I need to when i get it running good get my sub frames on before anything..

Thanks! Yea they looks really bad ass at night.. I cant wait to get my center console done being made up, it will all look really good with my auto meter gauges in the same color blue.. I even got bored and put 2 led's in my license plate lights, they regular lights got to hot and would melt the sockets as i discovered on my 03 mustang, so I was sure to put LED's in my black car to prevent that. Not only do they not give off as much heat and last alot longer there a shit ton brighter so I wont be getting pulled over for license plate lights anymore lol
