Got a new toy!!

My father in law did a concreate driveway for a guy about a week ago. The guy also did construction and was awaiting payment for his job. My father in law being the impatiant s.o.b he is says to the guy you have until tommorow to get me the money or I out the hydro hammer on the front of the bobcat and come back and chissle it up. Anywayz the guy said will you take that quad for the differance? He says sure if I can get my money back out of it. So I see it at his house and say whats with the quad? He said guy owed me money so I took it to sell. I said how much he says $600. I went straight to the bank and got the money for my newest toy. 99 400EX with a .30 over piston, big gun exhaust, k&n air filter, jetted and -1 tooth sprocket in the front. Not in perfect shape but for $600 not to bad. What do you guys think?

I have been rididng the hell out of it. Its a wheelie machine man its fun. If I go to sell it I will list it on here first and hook up a banger. But I think im gonna keep it around for a while. Its good cheap fun! Anyone ride at wayne national ever?

I used to have one just like it, but a -2 front sprocket. It would drag the damn grab handle when I did wheelies. Definitely a great buy!

Found somthing I don't like today the subframe had a small crack not all the way through but still a small crack close to where it bolts to the frame. We welded a plate on both sides of it today should hold up I hope. The good thing is I found a guy with a frame and subframe not far from me but he doesn't want to split them up. He wants 350 for both. Should I buy a new frame and subframe or just roll it? I don't have a before picture but I would say the crack was 1/2 of an inch long and we welded a 1/4 inch thick plate one both sides of it to be safe.
