I bought this project from a friend of mine a few months ago, and it has been taking time away from the Volvo project and forcing the '55 Tbird to live outside in the weather.

The body is EXTREMELY solid- all metal, no bondo, no rust. Heater channel on the DS was replaced, PS is solid. New full pan on both sides, new package tray welded in.

New Rancho Pro IRS transmission

New master cyl, and the PO tells me he did the brakes since last time it was on the road.

New 4" narrowed front beam from Empi

New pan-to-body hardware and gasket

New high-quality brown carpet

New steering box

Front-hinged 1-piece fiberglass nose

Asking $1250 for the car plus all the VW parts on the shelf, plus the boxes of Bug stuff in the attic. I am looking for a FAST XFI, 72cc AFR 185 heads, Lenco SC-2 or ST-1200 4 or 5 speed with reverser, other go-fast stuff, cars, trucks, and bikes.

New Rancho Pro IRS transmission, no complete engine.

Comes with a core and a fresh 1600 case that has been tapped for full flow oil filter and align bored.

For the right money, I have an aluminum-head 350 with a roller cam and stuff. It would look good hanging out the back!
