I've got the itch to go buy another gun and wanted a longer range bolt action rifle. I'm currently thinking that a .308 is what I am interested in. What does everyone have and how do you like it? I dont want to spend a rediculous amount but still want 1 MOA... just to make it more interesting i'm a lefty.
What does anyone know about Tikka t3's? They seem to be what im looking for and I've seen them in the low 600 dollar range. Is that a good price? Better or worse than a remmy 700?

Remington 700's are hard to beat, there are plenty of mods for them, finding/selling used is always easy, the newer ones have an adjustable trigger, and plenty of factory variations to choose from.
Like Moody said, Savage is another great option, people rave about their accuracy and trigger.
Both will do 1moa depending on model/ammo.
I'm not very familiar w/Tikka, If you get one, let us know how you like it. If budget is a big concern, you may want to look at Howa, they are foreign made, and seem to be a good bang/buck. But again, I have no first hand experience w/them.

If you are wanting a rifle out of the box you don't have to do much with other than throw on some nice glass you should go with the Tikka very smooth action and nice trigger.
