Just wanna see what everyone is doing with their tranny coolers. Mounted upfront, with a fan, in the trunk in a ice box??? Whats the best to use? I want it to stay cool in my coupe and I have a tranny temp gauge as well. Any thoughts on it would be appreciatted!

I ran mine in front of the Radiator on two Aluminum brackets I fabbed up to mount to the lower radiator support. There is at least 1.5 inches of clearence between the Rad and Cooler.
I might move it in favor of a larger cooler and fan though.

Thats what I originally had planned to do. Up front with a fan but I was curious as to trunk mount as well. I havent seen to many pictures of the ice box mounted tranny coolers and how they would work on the street. I dont want to carry a cooler of ice with my when Im driving it to work!!!

I think Twisted Twins had that setup. The cooler and fan were rear mounted either in the trunk or under where the spare tire would go,I cant remember.

I'm sorta going to use both methods on my coupe with my new turbo and PG setup. I'm going to mount my old tranny cooler with a fan under the trunk area. Then from that air cooler I'm going to route the fluid to the water cooled cooler insided my intercooler water tank in the trunk. I'll just run water in the intercooler tank on the street.
