I am real close to buying an SV1000S. I used to use progressive for all of my motorcycle insurance, never had bad luck with them.

Who are you guys using for your bikes?

Thats what happends when you get old and have a lame bike!! LOL In 2000 I was 18 I bought my first bike for 7,200 bucks. (98 CBR 900RR) and the insurance was 7,800 for a year! More than I paid for the damn bike!! Now Im almost 30 with no tickets and it is under 300 bucks a year full coverage for the 09 Repsol CBR 1000 I just picked up. I guess getting old does have a few plus sides to it. I too have always had Progressive for cars and bikes.

I have progressive for our cars, figured I would stick with them for my bike. Full coverage on an SV1000 was 460 for 12 months with progressive.

I've never had any issues with progressive, but I've also never had any claims either.....

I have full coverage for my Ducati w/ Progressive. $210/year. It's nice being old and married...I was paying nearly that a MONTH for coverage when I first bought the bike in 2001.

I have my bike and my wife's bike insured with Celina Insurance Group. Price seems pretty good, but at the same time I have never had to use the coverage.
