The slip on the belt is such a fine line with the car.

What I really need is a manual tensioner, that I can use to top out the spring loaded factory tensioner.

When you go wot, the tensioner goes almost through it's whole range. So it really needs to be at its upper most point to keep it tight during wot

Didn't know who in the area might be able to fab something like that

from what ive seen and the contacts he has, coupled with his engineering backround rob can get about anything made . he has a mill and lathe for stuff like that as well as acess to a full scale machine shop right across the street. I'd just call him up and ask.

Call Rob. Should be a simple item to make the way I see it in my head.

Zimmers can take care of it for you and you will not be disappointed with his work...

the belt has stretched a little, probably after the runs this weekend.

we were able to move the tensioner one hole, and after a few attempts, crank it around and fit it on, the tensioner is topped out right now.

hit it once on the way home, and saw 17psi at about 7000 rpms, we were getting 16 at 7500/7600 before, and that was 1200cfms,

this is 1450,

we also got on the double adjustables for the rear tonight. hopefully that will help plant the drag radials every time once we fine tune em, and i should have all my power now.

hope e20 is rain free friday!

i do still want a tensioner made though, for when new belts go on, and to make sure after they stretch some, that they stay wrapped

You got me checking the forecast for friday now .

I keep waiting on my 9, and i keep getting dissapointed, lol.

Last time out at e20, the car only hooked 1 outta 4 times, hopefully the new shocks on the rear will help that.

If i'm seeing 17 to 18 psi, I can't see any reason it doesn't go 9's
