Here is just a few of the ones I have. I am into restoring the old cars from the 80's and enjoy runnning the new stuff with my son.

the camaro is a late 80's RC10 buggy I converted to a street racer.
the white and red bug is an SC10 with a brushless set up
the monster bug is a brushless slash 4x4

I never really got into electric ones when I could afford my own I went nitro. I have a bad team associate monster gt. Two speed forward and reverse 4x4. Thing is huge. One 8th scale I think. It's fast and climbs great. Freaking expensive too.

I have a few nitros also mgt 4.6 4x4 2 speed with reverse and a traxxas rustler with a os .18 motor thats stupid fast way to much power to give full throttle.

Had a Revo 2.5 that I swapped a hopped up 3.3 engine into. That thing was nuts! I'm wanting to build a crawler, like an old TCS Stick chassis with clodbuster axles, 4 wheel steering and brushless motors.

I had an old RC10GT..it was pretty awesome but i got sick of playing with the gas and all that. If i had time and money for another hobby i would get an electric rock crawler in a heartbeat.

Got a pro-pulse a while back-its a cheap knock off but is still fun. We should stage a gathering @ the track in joyce park, no one even uses it anymore.

I have 2 traxxas unit that need speed controllers, they were fun while they lasted. Aparently the speed controllers are a common problem.

this isnt a car but I have had a few different planes. all electric. After crashing a few advanced ones I got a cheep (100.00) hobby zone or park zone.. Something free bird and its fun as hell. 2 channel and 20 min or so flight time. Ready out of the box. Put a bigger battery in it and you can get 30 min flight times. If you have never flown one get on. one hundred bucks and fun as hell.

Brad(Pitbull1052) had me looking at Helicopters. Man those things look like a lot of fun but damn are they pricey for a decent one. I wouldnt mind trying to fly a plane myself. Wanna trade for a Nitro Car Sean? lmao, jk

there are some small r/c copters for @ 200. Micro ones. Not the air hogs, but they are a lot of fun. I have one of the air hogs copters and dont regret buying it. Look into the hobby grade micro ones. not real expensive and somehave I believe 6 or 8 channels but they are pretty easy indoors to fly. If you get the plane get the EASY one. Hobby zone I thing. Fire bird. After crashing a f14 fighter, and a free bird I went with the level one. The guy at hobby town told me if you can drive an rc car you can fly this. Thats the one I bought. Get the bigger battery and your good to go. Its set up is more throttle means you go higher. less you go lower, left and right. Thats it. It does have an attachment where you can drop bombs or a little fella in a parachute. Also has a dog fight mode on some where if you get behing a friend flying the same typ of plane you hit a button on the transmitter and you disengage his motor for a few seconds.

Guy at my work did the same thing Sean. Had pricier planes and trashed them so started getting the $100 versions and loves them.

Its so funny. You think you have to be able to roll and loop to have fun but get something with wheels so you can take off and land on them and just flying in a big circle doing touch n go's can be a blast.

Unless gas racers went tits up, they still use it. Eli and John plus the other races need their nitro fix.

Or they built another track at the Fairgrounds :)

Which ESC you need? I have my old Traxxas ESC from my Slash short course truck, I went brushless.

Batteries, most of what I have at 3.7v single cell Lipos. Only have two 7.4V two cells left. I swelled the two cheapos. I have a BRAND NEW SMC 6000 mah 28C never ran. It was swelled when I got it.

well bring em with you the next time we need to mod a set of wheels. I am in no hurry these things have been broke for 8 months. One I only bought for the batteries I just got it so cheap I couldn't resist. They are a bunch of fun. My son loves watching it carry a wheelie across the yard.

My first RC car was a Blackfoot. Distroyed the body the first day out

It now has a 55 Chevy body on it and a Thorp Diff.

Also have a Team Losi JR-X2 buggy and a Kyosho 4WD Burns 0.21 nitro buggy. The Burns is old school single pinion, drive gear set-up.

Everything I have is old school and the battery cars are speed controlled, and the Blackfoot has a Tony Nessinger 16x4 brush motor w/tunable end bell. That sucker is quick and needs a rebuild because I keep throwing the axels out

I was hard on them as I use to jump them 4 to 6 feet in the air. Gone through many shock towers

I might be buying an E Revo VXL (1/16 scale 4WD) in a few weeks. Saw some videos of one with 3s lipos, Sidewinder brushless, Mamba ESC and center diff. That thing pulls like a train!

 Man this is digging up the past.

I'll have to see about getting parts for my O.S. 0.21 motor and get my gas buggy back together. I'd love to be able to swap out the clutch and drive bell for a 2 speed system but I haven't looked into what it would take to do this. The car is a classic and it's hard to find parts for it since it hasn't been made in over 15 years.

Nitro is dead IMO. There's zero reason to run Nitro with LiPo batteris and brushless motors available. Nitro- you have to charge the Tx batt, same as electric; you have to charge the Rx battery, same as the main battery on an electric. Plus, you have to charge the glow plug ignitor and carry fuel. The smoke and noise is cool, but electrics have it all over the nitro cars nowadays. 10 years ago, yea, go for nitro. Now, it's just a big hassle for the same or worse performance. Hell, the electric buggies can do back flips just standing still, how much more power do ya need? Speed is just a matter of gearing. No screwing with the A/F ratio or worrying about melting down a engine from running lean. No oil all over your car.. on and on. I'll never buy another nitro car.

Will nitro fuel tank swell and burst into flames for now reason???

LiPo will.

Esp. when a company (SMC) used twin 2200 mah cells and labeled it a 5000 mah pack then tried to blame the Chinese for the labeling error.

yeah, I called out SMC and they denied it.

This is why I have a QUALITY charger with mAh/temp shutoff and programable amp input (I always cycle my batteries with low amps on the charger first to zap them and get a true mAh reading).

What was the input amps? Not running a thermal link/temp probe?

Mista Bone

6 amps charging, chargers didn't have thermal probes at the time in 2009.

The worst part, it swell while inside the house, I ran it outside as soon as I notice it starting to swell.
