Who's got em and how do you like them? I just picked up 2 "as new" numbers matching for $89 each at a local gun shop. Havent got to shoot them yet... Is there any good upgrades for them?

I got a 91-30 and a 38 I love em cheap to shoot and the bullets bigger then a 308. Iv seen them with the Monte Cisco stock with scope I pre fer mine in military trim. I ran into them in Afghanistan there really nice old weapons that you can count in in a bad situation

I messed around with one last summer. I like em simply because they are a pretty accurate gun and cheap to buy. We all know the term gun hobby and cheap usually doesn't go in the same phrase. I ran into a guy up at the gun show back in feb. that had one dressed with sling and bayonet and a box of shells for 110.00 . I should have bought it but we all know how that goes...

there worth the few bucks just to play with. mine was built in 1917 and i had a 3in group at 100 meters. thats the same and a U.S. ARMY M4 or M16. and there cheaper to shoot.

I love them, I own one and so does my Dad. The only problem ive had with them is that the bolt likes to stick. But after some sanding shes perfect. Czech surplus ammo is just about the best. The fun part is when you order ammo you never know what youll get. Make sure you Take them apart and clean all the cosmoline and if your shooting surplus ammo you have to clean them before you leave the range as the old ammo is corrosive.
