RIP Big Steve

I've been trying to find out reliable info but it seems Big Steve, a track tech and announcer at Edgewater passed away a few days ago.

While searching for info I found two other racers/mentors that passed away as well.

Yes Big Steve is gone, they annouced it & had a moment of silence toady at Edgewater, the daughter of the tower guy (can't remember his name:confused:) read a beautiful tribute to him.

Yes and his hair was really thin on top as well.

A very nice guy and I will miss talking with him when I'm down there at the Edge.

RIP Big Steve.I'll surely miss him.He gave me alot fo sheet about my first race car years ago and after all the tech infractions where done like he wanted,he treated as a freind.That was 17 years ago.We talked about everything from motorcycles to his big old boat of a race car.After you got to know him he was a really nice guy.

Steve gave me a little crap about being an Import, but then he started noticing my RT's and killing other cars on the tree, he'd always ask me at tech when I was gonna get a perfect bulb.
