ok i can start my 88 gt when its cold but after it worms up wont start and the litttle ground wire gets hot and car wont start but once it cool off it will start again please help thx

which little ground wire are u talkin about should be a bigger ground wire from battery to engine and ground straps on the back of the head to the firewall sounds like a ground prob or a starter itself

there a 2nd wire come of the battery to the right beside the battery it might be the starter
