Have 3 of these. All have to be built. 2 are single plates looking for $400 plus shipping on them, $600 plus shipping on the triple plate. Stall can be set to your liking. The frictions will be upgraded to high carbon black linings instead of the red linings they came with.

For years the best combination was to buy one of these multiplates and have it relined. Here is a chance to get that for half price. The single plate units with the better lining are considerably better as well, lockup at wot on any car making better than stock torque is still not recommended however the upgraded lining will not fry as the red paper originally found on them would.

What kind of price does a 4r70w for a windsor built to take say 500-600 hp go for? Full manual vb is fine.
I may want a trans brake, I'm not sure on that.

Thanks.

That is not an easy question. To get the answer you have to figure the cost of the initial build and then start adding the parts you want. I try to avoid manual valvebody setups as if you are not very careful you can quickly destroy even the best built transmission. I would rather see a OEM control system over anything, Baumann setups have come a long way and are competitive to teh cost of a manual valvebody. Plus for bracket racing you cannot beat an electronically shifted transmission. Put it in drive and go.
