A friend of mine has a 90 GT with a powerdyne bd-11a with only 4 lbs of boost. Everytime he gets on it and it gets into the boost the pcv valve pops out of the back of the intake. The car does have a bypass vlave on it. How can we keep the hose from popping out.

Well, first off the pcv and the little hose that runs from the valve cover to the throttle body both need to be disconnected. The manifold side of both need to be capped and the engine side of both need to be vented to atmosphere. What is his base timing?

Not sure on the base timing it was tuned at cincy speed right before winter I believe.

X2. If all of those are connected your shoving boost in your crankcase.

I had the same powerdyne set-up on my old car. I just ran motorsport valve covers w/ the press in breathers. Never touched the pcv hose. Left it attached like factory. Never had any trouble running 6psi.:D
