I don't really know what they are called but they go right above your window and I think they are so your cigarette doesn't get wet......anyways I want them off but the only problem is there is an adhesive that attaches them to the top of the door and I need to know if I can get that off using some sort of chemical without hurting the paint in any way.....if there is any help anyone can throw my way I'd greatly appreciate it....thanks

Correction not on the top of the door lol. It would probably be better described as the top of the car lol..

it's just two sided tape i'd think a heat gun would loosen it, then some acrosol or something similar would get the rest of the glue off.....

Thanks I appreciate it. They don't look too bad its just that I got out of my car yesterday and cracked it with my head.

Heat gun to get it off....Goo gone works great to get off the adhesive residue.

Goo gone will do it all too, just soak it liberally with it!

Dont get too close to paint or rubber with a heat gun. You'll melt it,
If you dont have a heat gun, get a hair dryer and turn it on high.
