i found a 86 gt on craigslist for 6500, it ended up being right up the st from house, i went and looked and met with the owner of the 86 and it was a young boy who inherited it from dad who died 2 yrs ago. he stated he didnt know anything about the car and didnt have the keys it was sitting on a 2006 car trailer so anyways long story short i bought the car and trailer for $3500. i sold the trailer for 1000 so i have 2500 in beautiful 86 gt with 8 pt cage. after researching car i found out that mustang specialties built the car 6 yrs ago and it was featured in mustang 5.0 mag . it was bought from them buy boys dad for $14,800 the car has a roller fuel injected 393 stroker eldebrock vic jr heads tko tremec trans it i must say it is roudy it tears the tires off 4 gears and i mean tears them off just found out last night the car has a stand alone frpp epec computer system in it looking forward to see how fast the car is at track i heard 10's on motor 9's on the 2 stage nitrous system it has. just wanted to tell u guys my story on this awsome find thanks for reading

i'll get some pics on here tonight, u guys will love im diggin the 4 eye look well the good thing the guy i received all my info from was the guy that did a fresh rebuild before the car was parked , rings bearings u know the basics, ill tell ya the car has some serious torgue, i dont think i will spray it real nice driver the guy says the car has 5 hours on rebuild

I saw this on c-list and it looked like a nice car, had a description but dont remember what all it said, i remember the dad/son story and that it said that it had some work done he wasnt sure on all the details. Hell i thought about looking at it myself. Hope its what you were told, good luck with it should be fun to drive.

badass find! but this is just me thinking aloud. if my dad left me something like this you would have to pry the keys and title out of my cold dead hands. and the sad part is he probly went and bought a civic as soon as you left his driveway. now your gona end up busting his ass in his dads old car because he is going to "pipe" you at a stop light. lol
