I prefer Escalation over First Strike. The maps are pretty big, so if you like smaller maps, this won't be the map pack to buy. Looks like they made them to be a little more sniper friendly. Probably to go with the de-nerfing of the sniper rifles and of the quickscoping they did in the last update. I'd look around on YouTube to see some actual game play from both map packs if I were you.

Big maps, more sniping, lots of corner campers. Run and gunner's won't be as happy..

Escalation is way better if you like big maps with lots of places to move through if you play tactically. If you are a run and gun guy i would say first strike because the maps are alot more open jmo
