im putting together what im hoping to just be a fun street car. im kinda budget building to. so im putting gt40p heads on a 351 bottom end most likely running a stock bore because i worry that the heads might be restrictive if i bore it any. im getting them cut down a little tho. so my question is what would be a good cam to run with this? and has anyone messed with this combination? o and its carb'd edelbrock intake and demon 670cfm.

With gt-40 heads and a stealth intake(or performer rpm),that thing will make some really nice bottom end but will probably be done by 5000 rpm or so. It should be a tire smoking street machine!

I have a nx274hr, billet core, I'd let go pretty cheap. PM me if you are interested.

Sounds alot like my 95 lightning motor. That thing was quick for a truck I bet it would lots of fun in a mustang

Is it a roller short block? My buddy has the same set up and there are a few good cam choices.
