Tonight actually turned out to be a half way decent night. The track wasn't to bad except the shortened shut down due to flooding. Managed to bust off two 11.24's, 11.25, and a 11.22 all @ 120MPH.

I didn't actually run but what the announcer said was that the extra shut down wasn't flooded just the return road. So you had the space if you really needed it they just had to wait for you to turn around and drive back up the track to the next return road

Just remember this is the same track that sent two slick tired cars down after the timeslip booth called about the rain coming up the track.

So thats why the timing boards disappeared!!!!

In a hard downpour you don't just slow down a slick tire car without it getting stupid.

The track was fine. Last night was my first pass and went a 1.27 60ft and my buddy Shawn tried to rip the bumber off of his car. The track isnt bad. Its just bad chassis tuners.

Holy crap you went steve? Had I known that I would have looked for ya i went with a friend and my cousin. I was trying to find SN95N/A but couldn't find him. I talked to his friend a few times but never could find him. To be honest I haven't seen your car steve and I don't remember seeing you go down the track. I would love to go down again but i have to work on my car because I haven't driven it forever, and I have some projects around the house to finish but I will def be there more this summer and stuff the season is still young. I need to atleast meet some of the sardinia guys like steve. I know Jesse because I graduated with him but i can't believe I didn't even realize steve was there.

Well I actually plan to run with them next year. I am still not on my game with the tree like I was back in 09. My lights are all over the place since I went with the 347 combo last year. I'm hoping that I can get that figured out this year. Believe it or not (at least for me) the faster the car is the harder it is for me to catch whomever. I can still remember when I was running 12.60's a couple years ago and it was a heck of a lot easier to catch people if I was doing the chasing than it has been the past year. I think its easier to catch people on the low end versus the top end of the track. But yeah you need to put up with me for one more year.

Once I get a few things straightened out on my black car I might come play in UMTR and make everyone wait at the line to catch me! LOL 14.5's for the win!

Not trying to make it sound like that!! Just saying that I would get my butt handed to me in quickstick right now cause I cant cut a light consistently to save my life. Granite I get lucky from time to time and get decent lights but I think we all do even some of the quick stick guys as well. So yeah I hope the weather holds out for us this weekend. Not that you should, but unless your name is Dangelo dont worry about me. LOL!!!

As of now the water is creeping up the end of the track again, and with rain predicted until at least sunday I guess we all have another week to work on our cars
