I had both Geico and Progressive. I totaled a bike and made a claim with Geico. They were very fast in settling, very smooth process.

I use allstate for my home and cars. Asked them about my bike, 1100 shadow, and he said 82 bucks. Paid it right there. Done.

You are lucky.

I drive 97 Suzuki Intruder 800cc, I tried to bundle my motorcycle insurance with my auto and it was still over $200 a year for the bare minimun Ky insurance.....checked progressive, geico and the rest of them and they are all about that price. I have a clean record(knock on wood) and over 30 years old..not sure what my problem is..

Not a motorcycle rider, but was discussing insurance a buddy who got one of those CanAm Spyders few weeks ago and the insurance company told him the first year of insurance is usually higher. He they told him after his first year of riding, his premium will be almost cut in half...

I use progressive. If you take the motorcycle saftey foundation course , some insurance companies offer up to 20 percent of your policy.

I forgot to mention I got my policy for 75 dollars for the year and that was full coverage. 500 deductable.. Now that is only on a 2001 cruiser but thats LOW. Its also a 750 chain drive bike.

I asked my agent about my busa, and he said "wow thats scary". It was $780 a year, but I was looking for liability, and I think he gave me full coverage. I'm 33 with a clean record, been riding since I was 8, and this makes my probably 12th personal "keeper" bike. I checked Progressive online, and it was $75 a year for liability. I'm gonna double check, but at that rate I'm goin with Progressive! GO FLO! lol...

I paid like 44 a month last year through progressive for liability. They wanted 175 a month for full coverage. Lol
