80 is prob to small for a 460 ... i know prection said a gt 47 /88 was way to small for a 420 and could hurt the motor since its so far out of the compresor map

Technically its too small for a 460 but will work with a T6 housing and would make a killer street strip motor. Motors that big usually need twins.

he doesnt want to run alot of boost or anything just a exrta little oumph
I think he mostly just wants the sound of the turbo and the bov
but the turbo is going into the driver side alum tool box in the bed on the left side hes going to take a air to air intercooler in a ice water bath as a air to water intercooler i think it will work

this is the box he wants to use http://www.tractorsupply.com/vehicle-maintenance-accessories/truck-boxes/aluminum-truck-boxes/tractor-supply-co-reg-full-size-single-lid-chest-46-1-2-in-silver-1099492
to small of a turbo wont hurt the motor, the turbo just wont make enough air to support the motor at high rpm, you can destory a turbo tho by sizing it incorrectly.

Just as a reference when I called and talked to a couple of vendors they told me the 80mm I was interested in was a little on the small side for a 383. I still opted for it because the price was so good and I could swap just about anything in its place down the road.
