need transmissin for a focus

motor is a ZETEC 2.0 DOHC auto.

i been calling all junk yards around me and they got nothing.

does any one on here happin to have one? or no if there is a focus forum in this area (seems like there is forums for everything) that i could try and find one in?

You might try cartoons auto salvage in wilmington . They also run a transmission shop there called b&m transmission. Ask for gordy , he has fixed a couple of focus transmissions that we have towed in there. Cartoons number is 937-655-9364. Hope this helps.

Just a heads up, make sure the tranny is an actually focus tranny. Even though the zx2, contour, cougar, and focus all come with 2.0 zetec, the motors differ, and so do the trannys. Do not ask me what Ford was thinking with this, but I know the zx2 autos are weak. If its a manual, it will be a MTX-75 trans.

yea they told her their computer showed 4 differenet ones so she showed them the title. she said so they know motor vin all that shit. and they search for it from there then she had the old one with her to compare to the new one they were giving her. and it all check out they said. i hope its all good.
