Well that math only depends on gearing as well. If you have 500+ gear ratio and your shifting at 5-6k your not gonna pull all the way down the track, you'll be red lining it from the 1/8 to the 1/4 mark giving you a 12 sec run...
Just saying if its built for 1/8 mile it wont do good in 1/4

can some one do the math a 5.53 in the 1/8 is what in the 1/4 1.57 is the constant that the NHRA uses as Ranger50 indicated, although the IHRA uses a constant of 1.56 and typically most cars fall somewhere in between at 1.5832 so either calcuation you use will give you an et within a .1 tenth on your 1/4 mile result.

Peace :cool2:

it depends on alot convertor slip and gearin and how hard you 60 or 330 alot of thing effect it but the mph in the 1/8 will tell you alot to . got a old time slip here thats 5.49 and 8.36 at 163 so depends on how hard you getting it .. but i would say most people with a turbo car will run in the high 50s to low 8.60s with that et in the 1/8 because most turbo cars are soft to the 1/8 so look at the mph 130 plus and prob faster than the 8.70

i been going back and forth with this guy about trading my 05 for it,it has it's ups and it's downs i think at the end the turbo car would be worth 20k or more, like i said it has it's ups and downs it's been driving me crazy whether or not to do the deal, just so undecided
