Have the top of the engine tore apart and I have never been real crazy about the weight of the comp cam magnum stainless roller rockers. Who makes a good quality aluminum rocker and would I benefit from the weight reduction on the valvetrain. This is no longer a street car. Shift anywhere from 5900-6500 rpm. Opinions please.

Comp ultra gold are an excellent piece. I run these, come down and check them out if you like.

Several good aluminum rockers on the market. Ed Curtis recommends scorpion brand rockers for guys on a budget. I will have a set Comp Cams 1.6 7/16" stud mount rockers/guide plates/rocker studs for sale soon. I need to find out what comp part number they are. They are basically brand new..been bolted on..but motor never ran yet. I'm switching to a set of shaft mount rockers on my turbo motor since it may see 7500+rpms.

If your looking to loose valve train weight. You could also look into Ti retainers and beehive style valve springs.
