those pheads work really well with a bcam. mine spun 280whp and 320tq with a cobra intake, bolt ons and 24#injectors. It was alot of fun to drive!

Yea I see people get great results out of any of the motorsports cams.


Also anyone know the part number for the valve spring kit for the p heads?

yes sir, i ran comp cams 942-16 springs and my car pulled to 6k very well. bought them at jegs for around $80 tfs also makes a kit with keepers and retainers for around 150$ not sure of the pt # but summit stocks it.

I dont know if this will clear a stock shortblock P headed motor. I found a couple threads that say no.
