I like what he has to say, but can it hold water? He talks of demands with OPEC and trade tax with China. I love his confidence, which is what I believe a world leader must have. However, I fear he may be out of his league. Running his own business he is the be all end all of the decision making process; Runing United States is far different. So far he has my ear, what say you?

I think he is what we need. A man who can make a profit and look at long term effects of a deal not just the check he gets back later. I think there are too many deals allowed because someone gets a kickback from it. Get someone in office who laughs at a $5,000,000,000 kickback check because he doesn't need the money. It happens in all big business's. For example transtar is a local transmission parts supplier. Their prices are high because they have made arrangemenst with major business owners that at the end of the year they get a large check back. This is just a tool to make the people running the business for the owner think they are losing money or not making much, while the owner gets paid in secret. Small businesses like mine pay the high prices and get nothing back. Large busineses like cottman and aamco pay the same price then get 20-30% back at the end of the year. It is legal but it isn't right. I prefer to do business where the price is the price, no loopholes or scams. That is how our government needs to be run as well.

We've had an Movie Star, Adulterer, Minority and plenty of Liars in the office. So why not? Until ALL these politicians get off their Fucking High Horse, nothing is going to change. They are looking out for themselves and not us.

I don't think he's electable but I welcome a business man into the white house. I looked at Romney last election as well as Ron Paul.

I like Ron Paul a lot and even Hermain Cain. Trump could be a good president. He knows how to make money and how not to waist it. I have to say I like how Trump thinks. We go to bat for all these countries and never see a dime for it. When he was on Hannity he said we should charge South Korea for keeping the peace there. I thinks hes right.

Even though I like Herman Cain better, Trump would be a far cry better than what we've got now. I turned 22 this year and its crazy how differently I view the world now. I never used to pay any attention to politics. Now that I do, I'm just PO'd all the time. It makes me sick the direction our country is taking. We need a businessman in 2012, period. No more lazy career politicians. If things don't change big time, we're done.

Totally agree, but we're also talking about the king of capitalism so who's to say he won't be looking out for #1?
Either way, it wouldn't surprise me in the least if he was actually elected.

His failed casinos will haunt him.
I do like his pissing liberals off bringing Barry's BC back into the news...
Paul and Cain are two others I like.

That would be EPIC. I think we would see a much more refined Trump if he got in..less silly catch phrases.

Just shows what disarray the GOP is in that he is even a viable candidate.
Sadly no matter who the GOP puts up, Zippy will win once again.
Trump if he decides to run won't get the GOP nomination and he is so hard headed and full of himself will run as an independent only taking more votes away from the GOP candidate.
Then without reelection worries Obama will have nothing to hold him back in destroying this country.

I have been watching him for awhile. I like the way he thinks. If China doesn't buy American goods..there shit sits on a boat or we bust their head with taxes. He will run the country like a business. Ford didn't bail out GM, so we don't go to some third world country to try to make people like each other that have been at civil war for 3 generations. I think he is smart enough to know his limits, like national defense etc. He will do as he does in business..surround himself with the best in the business in there particular field. I would vote for him. We need to fix the US before we go trying to fix the rest of the world.

I can't tell you how many politicians promised to run government like a business over the past 50 years. It's bullshit; none succeeded and they knew the promise was worthless. A president has little control over revenue, since only Congress can pass bills raising revenue or decreasing taxes and 70% of the federal budget is mandated by law (such as SS and Medicare). So Trump is repeating the same campaign bullshit any other politician spouts. How many times have we heard politicians promise to balance the federal budget?

Politicians do seem to be finally trying to balance the budget. The way they are going at it may work. In turn they are going to turn the dollar bill into toilet paper. They are actively trying to make small business a thing of the past. I don't want to hear a bunch of bullcrap about making money out of nonsense. I want to hear plans to bring companies back to the states. We buy a vast majority of our purchases from other countries, some of which do not even have the resources to make the stuff. Our contninent has nearly everything you can imagine, farm land, iron, coal, various other metals, oil, and other resources. Every piece of iron in china was shipped there. The only reason we are buying this stuff is because it is priced below what we can make it ourselves for. If Nafta had never been passed do you think jobs would be this hard to find?

Unfortunately we currently don't have the luxury to play hard ball with China for two devastating reasons.
1st being the majority of American people want their cheap shit! Guess where it comes from??
2nd being that China holds most of the US debt. The borrower is slave to the lender and guess what they are a huge lender.

Ive always said that i will vote for the guy who will make congress and himself pay into social security, take a pay cut for all govt offices . Working in goverment should be something you do because you love your country , not because of the perks and kickbacks you recieve . Most of our leaders are already millinoaires . Unfortunatly this person would be assisinated before they ever really got there message across , let alone have a chance at being elected.
