Edgewater Cruise in pics

I didn't get many pics, i was too busy beating on my DD :lol:

I learned two things today:

1) cop cars are not that fast. 16.20 at about 90mph. I guess 4000lbs, highway gears, a full tank of gas and one wheel peal doesn't make for a good drag car lol.

2) i haven't driven anything with a stick and power for well over a year...made an ass out of myself driving Plated's car, missed 2nd AND 3rd. Rusty isn't even the right word for it.

Anyway, i had a blast. Sorry if i didn't get a pic of your car, i got the ones who were in the group over by the concession stand in between making passes.

I love the sweep panoramic mode on my camera but Photobucket shrinks them down so small that they don't upload very well.

There were more people there but they were kind of scattered around so i didn't get pics of them, or they were staging/racing and i missed them.

I had a good time. Seen the cop car make a couple passes. I was waitin on ya to burn one wheel clear down so I could get a good picture!! I didnt get to much but Ill post them in a few.

It ran good once it got moving but it was painfully slow off the line. Strangely enough i got the holeshot on most of the cars i ran with but until about 40mph it just doesn't pull very hard. It almost covers the whole 1/4 in 2 gears...it just shifts into 3rd as i'm about to cross the line. It would probably love 4.10s or 4.30s but i'm trying to resist the mod bug lol.

Oh, and my entire head is sunburned to hell and back :lol:

How do you like your new 5.0 firestang70? My brother-in-law has black one you have probably seen it. I have seen your stang with the flames on it but i have not seen this one driving around yet. Also i am realizing there are a lot of people from sardinia on this forum kinda cool
