CONTEST - Design the 2011/12 SBZ T-Shirt!

About this time each year everyone asks about having new SBZ apparel. I thought it would be an idea to have contest for anyone that wants to submit their design idea(s). Once we have all the ideas on the table we can have a vote for the winning design - winner would receive some free apparel!

Here are the RULES:

1) Your design must be submitted and attached to this thread (or linked to). While verbal ideas are good, there MUST be a photo, sketch, crayon rendering, etc. of the idea.
2) Designs must convey the spirit of this site and be PG rated. No in-appropriate material will be considered.
3) Designs should be fairly simple and utilize only 2 or 3 colors - screen printing gets expensive when you add more colors.
4) Designs are not limited to just one side of the garment - you can design for both front and back!
5) Designs that also lend in simplicity for making stickers, etc. should be strongly considered.
6) NO limit to the number of design you can submit.
7) CONSTRUCTIVE comments on other's designs are appreciated, attacks, bullshit ramblings will NOT be tolerated.
8) Use of copyrighted material, images, etc. is strictly forbidden.
9) Designs must be submitted by Midnight DST May 31st.
10) If there are a large number of designs submitted, the Moderators will choose the top 12 for the final vote.

any phrases or sayings that people want to be included? I have made a simple one already, and I put StangBangerz run this town, since that is probably the most common saying on here. but I am still fairly new, so let me know!

not sure if the tri bar running horse counts as copyrighted or not. under it says stangbangerz.com, that part didnt turn out too clear. just a simple one.

The last one is nice. However, you are correct the tri-bar pony can't be used.

The earlier ones just had the skull/cross pistons with stangbangerz.com under the design. And the design was simple enough, while still looking great, to be sewn on some baseball caps too.

You can almost think of the possible logo as a 'brand.' Stickers, hats, shirts, etc. Not saying any of this is going to happen in the next weeks or so, because there is a lot of work/effort needed for having such items, but the I think the possibility is there . . . .

There is also the option of obtaining a design from istockphoto.com and tweaking the image to suit SBZ's needs. I think the extended license may work for SBZ based upon potential number of sales . . .

This first one has potential (as do they all) with the circular format, stangbangerz.com could be in the lower portion of the black circle.

Since a few folks have contacted me asking if they could have an extension on the deadline, it is now extended until July 10th.

Got an idea, wish I had a scanner to upload some drawings.. but for a logo why not change it up with a rim like http://image.mustangmonthly.com/f/9020693+w750+st0/0706_mump_09_z+1966_mustang_gt+rims.jpg instead of a skull, a cam for one bone, and a wrench for the other. I'm not good with catchy phrases but we could add one underneath.
