I normally stop by at a auto shop I worked at 25 years ago and get my advice from a guy I worked with. But he has been going through chemo treatments and missing alot of work. So I don't want to bother him.
So if you don't mind I'll keep picking your guys brains. I have a reman. compreesor(10P15C), new oriface tube and accumulator. It's going in a 84 stang 2.3L. Must of the AC parts are off of a 93 stang. I'll be flushing the old system out and using 134A. The system calls for 8 oz. of oil. How much should go in comp. & what type? If PAG what viscosity? Does it go in the suction side only then rotate comp several times by hand? Were should I put the rest of the oil? I read somewhere that I should use 75% of 134A in place of the recomemded amount of R12 it would normally use. Does that sound right? I hope that covers all my questions. Thanks Jeff
