Don't know if any one of you have shot this thing before. Let me tell you lol, it's a beast. I shot a 325 grain and it was pretty damn strong. I bumped up to the 400 grain and wow!
Unreal is all I gotta say. I'm having my shells re-loaded with 800 grain for next round of shooting.

I really thought that thing wasn't that bad. I'd rather shoot that than my mother-in-law's S&W .357 with titanium cylinder and scandium frame. .38's weren't bad but it was down right painful to shoot with .357 in it.

I agree. I've shot my friend's 500 a few times and I thought that the weight of it really helped with the recoil.

It all depends on the grain. I don't care who you are, if you have a high grain count, it will kick like a mule. I'm having the 800 put in so we'll see. The 400 is powerful as hell.

You didn't shoot any of the 400 grain load Cam. What you fired was the 325 I think. BIG difference in kick.

We can cure that Tim, lmk. I have never heard of 800 grain bullets for these, Hornady makes 500 grain, I thought that was the biggest available. My dad has one and I love shooting it, but many of my friends hate it. Most people will only put 3 rounds through it, and Ive seen big guys only shoot it once, but my 150 lb. brother has no problem shooting it repeatedly.
These are actually very accurate also, I have put 3 rounds in a 1" group @ 7 yards. I have had guys shooting next to me at the range stop and wait for me to finish because of the noise and debris it threw back @ the 7 yard range. It's on the list.

A buddy of mine can do an 800 grain on a reload. I shot a coke can from 40-50 feet and the bullet was just killing the can. I hit the can every shot as well. Strange how the can stayed in check while an antifreeze jug with water explodes.
The gun is unbelievable on it's accuracy. I loading it full each time I would shoot as well. It's a fun gun to have.
