Anyone collect diecast cars whether it be Hotwheels, Johnny Lightning, or other brands? I didnt realize that there were several Fox Bodied Mustangs out there. Hotwheels recently came out with a Fox bodied 92' Mustang and a company called Greenlight has several different Fox bodies to include notchbacks. Just wondering who collects this stuff also, what you have and where you buy it at. Lots of it on Ebay but shipping is high and makes most 1:64 cars $10 a pop. Also, post up some pics if you can!

I still have the red Nitto Mustang you gave me, as well as a few from i think Maisto...they made a '93 Cobra that was sold with a few different paint schemes including a police car version.

I'm always looking for Fox cars at the flea markets but i don't bother with ebay. I'm not a serious collector, i just pick them up here and there if i find something cool.

Here's the body/car Maisto put out...seems there have been a lot more paint schemes than i know about. There's also a pro mod version with a big engine out of the hood and tubbed in the back. The ground effects/body kit are a bit exaggerated but overall it's a nice model.

I'm pretty sure Maisto just put out a line of police cars and one of them was a fox coupe.

I collect 1:24 scale stuff but not too much for foxbody stuff there. I did find an awesome 1:18 scale from GMP I think it was called the ground pounder but not sure

I have a customer who is a police officer. He has a collection in his basement. Lots of coupe police cars from many different states. Pretty cool. There were Torinos, chargers from back in the day. Late 60s and early 70s too.

Im a plastic and die cast nut... not as bad as I used to be. I have shelves on every wall of my room with approx 45 1:24 scale model cars, and another 30-40 still unbuilt in my closet. Along with thousands of hot wheels. I have a neat svo mustang that I got when I was little. I will try get a pic of it

Turtle Creek had a few fox body ones. Had a convertible one too. I should have picked up a few but I was being cheap.

I had a display board that was full of mustangs, fox body, sn's, classics, and various other cars all in boxes. Was nice until my 4 year old opened them all up one day... lol!

I have a Vapor silver 2007 S197 GT Convertible in 1/24 from Franklin mint that matches my 1:1 ride minus the interior color and rims. Gift from my father in law when I bought my car.

I also have a collection of 1/18 diecast, roughly 60 cars and at least 200 slot cars (ties in with my user name SJ-Slots) although not all are Mustangs. Here are just some samples of Mustang slot cars available, old and newer.

That is really cool. When i was a kid i had a neighbor, his whole attic was slot cars and train sets on plywood tables covering the whole room with just walkways going between them. It was like stepping into a huge tiny city. I was always so jealous.

Love the big tracks. I have one and need more track. There are digital scx tracks out now that allow you to change lanes. If you have any extra track you want to sell pm me. I need it. I have a very small oval and where i am moving has a basement so my daughter and I want a bigger track and we are going to make a scale 1/4 mile track as well.

haha... yeah thanks guys. Didn't mean to get the thread away from diecast though. Sorry about that!

draggin50.. I have a bit of an excuse. I'm the owner of a slot car based message forum for Cincinnati racers and I co-admin a website dedicated to slot car racing with a buddy of mine from Missouri. Of the 500+ slot cars I have owned about 350 of them were provided by manufacturers for the sake of online web reviews. My buddy and I test the cars, take images and write reviews about them for the web. Here's a sample of some from this year I did:
