Stop by Mike, I have a whole cart filled with B head parts. Somebody disassembled them to the bare head it looks like, for whatever reason. shit's going to the scrapper after you look it over.

I'll come by and get them from you to put them back on those heads. What's different about them? Maybe that other engine I have might have them on it?

Yeah I planned on returning them to you. They are different in size and where the oil feeds them. The piston is also different.

I have that other engine that I bought the same time you got yours. Think that will have it?

Dont know, what year was it? Cant believe the ones I got from you were as different as they were. I guess another one of Fords better ideas.

Got tied up today on a few things. Will you be at the cruise in? I can just take em off and bring em with me just in case.

That's okay. Maybe you can help me, I looked at them before I left, and one side appears to bolt on, but I didn't see bolts holding the other one in... I was running late and didn't look in depth but I was stumped

One bolts on from the top and the other bolts on from the front. Are your heads COP style or ones that had the coild packs? I think that may be the difference.

My heads are 93-98 NON COP style.

That other engine I have here is the cop style. You are welcome to them.

Pretty sure 97-98 was a B head but used cops. Instead of coil packs. I just had one here that was that way. Kinda weird but its factory that way.

Yep, he and I both bought cop B headed engines about the same time. I just needed the block, so he got the heads and his tensioners he needed. The 97-98 heads with cops have a different tensioner design for some reason. Looks like they will interchange, but he wanted to stay consistent
