Id like to put my drag springs on the '94 for a while and see how it does. Too many other things to do before and after before I could even drive it... like an alignment

If you are going for test and tune, there is a cruise in scheduled in Newport for a Marine that just got back from Afganistan...

Im pretty sure Im going to go and fail to get in the 13s:lol: I want to get a couple runs in while the car is still stock and slow so that I will be motivated to turn loose of some cash at the swap meet the next day:bigthumb

That sounds like a great idea. I wont be able to make the cruise. I trailer the car to the track and will already be on that side of town.

Yes it will be nice to see you guys again too. I hope mother nature cooperates for us tonight. It's not looking good for this evening right now. But you never know. They say 40-50% chance of rain starting around 5 or 6 this evening. But all that means is 40-50 times out of a 100 it has rained under the same conditions here before. So we still have a 50-60% chance it wont rain. LoL!!!

What a terrible night at the track. The track absolutely sucked for slick cars. Drag radials and street tire guys seemed to do alright. I made 2 attempts and couldnt get to the 330' mark. The first guy out on slicks put his car into the wall twice very hard. Twisted the frame and then some. They refused to spray the track any further than the 60'. We asked them several times and the answer was no. Guess they couldn't rationalize the cost on the VHT versus the 10 or so slick cars that were there tonight. A bunch of guys left right after the accident occurred.
