I actually like leaving the engine on the engine stand, makes it easier to get it all adjusted.A good engine stand can handle the subframe too. No 3 legged $30 harbor freight specials.

bout 5 minutes from the time we started lowering til the k member was bolted to the frame

Like anything prep work takes all the time. It takes me about 45 seconds to weld a torque converter together, some models take days in machine work to get ready to weld.
