Hey, I have wanted to swap my AOD for a 4R for a few years now and it looks like I am finally going to have the chance. I am going to be picking up the trans and converter out of a 99 V6 in the very near future. Unfortunately it looks like there isn't a great deal of information on the swap out there.
Has anyone here done the swap?
How did you control the trans? Did you use an aftermarket controller or use 94-95 CPU? (Not sure on that last one, but I think I read a while back that is an option)
What shifter did you use?(is it possible to reuse the AOD shifter?)
Any advice is greatly appreciated.
