Wanted: A broken car part

I am looking for a broken metal part for a school project my wife has to do. A connecting rod would be perfect but some other smaller and easily managable part would work as well. I need to have all the pieces so it can be examined using a scanning electron microscope to determine how the metal failed.

I've got a 4 banger out of a civic w/ catastrophic failure, I pm ya when I get it pulled.

Got a connecting rod out of my saturn,but it didnt break. The bearing let go and it beat itself into the head.

Cam I have rocker arm that broke. It did not come completely apart but there is a good clean break. BTW it is aluminum and here is a pic

Kenny I think that would be perfect. I will show the picture to my wife tonight to make sure then I will just have to figure how to get it from you.
