This is what im looking for. http://www.latemodelrestoration.com/item/MM-MMT8/Maximum-Motorsports-79-04-Mustang-Front-Spring-Installation-Tool Im going to buy one but need one RIGHT NOW. If anybody close to Kings Island has one I can use Right away I will order you a new one and just have it shipped right to your house.

Odd... I've never needed any special tool to put lowering springs in... they've always gone right in for me...

^Same here. Just lower it down with a jack and they come right out.

Then get your ass over to my house! Ive been fighting them for an hour and this isnt my first time ever doing this. Never had this much trouble before.

getting them out was not the problem. cant get them in.

Rent a spring compressor at autozone. I used the compressor to get the spring compressed then twisted some strong wire around the coils to hold it compressed. Installed the spring and then cut the wire. Worked great

What kind of springs are they? I changed lowering springs twice on my '94 and each time they practically fell back in place...

I finally got it together. it was H&R Super race. they are rated at 1050 and are stiff as hell. super tight fit and the spring had no flex being such large coils
