Green buick skylark and brown dodge dart @ edgewater.

Last year at edgewater there was a fast azz green buick skylark and a real fast brown dodge dart pulling some fast time's on the track. I like too know what the hell is in the buick and in the dart! Those sucker's were fast man.So what do they got under the hood?

Likely the Buick was just a mild 455 with a cam and a 4 bbl. It used to be painted maroon and silver 25+ years ago. I bought my second Mustang from him when I was 19 for the motor and tranny to drop into my 75 Mustang II.

I have a picture of the Buick somewhere, it is a 68 IIRC.

talk to jason408 on here...think he has helped the owners tune both of those cars. The buick is a 8.5" outlaw car with a stroked BBC on spray. The dart is a stroked bb mopar n/a if I remember right.

buick is a 1970 factory gs stage1 car has a 565 coventoinal headed bbc making about 1000 hp na with a nos plate on it runs 8.5 with it made a few nos passes last year went 5.43 at 137 in the 1/8 on 8.5s .. its out gary rohes geting some up dates now .. the dart is a 1969 dart with a all alm 5??:D lets just say big cubed . ha ha b headed motor . its a street car that runs 8 secound 1/4 mile pass at over 150 . all motor and still a stock sup leaf spring car :bigthumband it makes over 1100 hp na . motor going in it tonight gett ready for some racing

Yah I seen a bunch of stangbanger boys all walking up too those cars when the were in the burnout box and staging up @ edgewater last year and man that buick was a monster so was the little dart too.I hope to see them up there again this year and also there's a diesel white chevy truck up there running high 9's that's just crazy for a diesel turbo duramax with the 6 speed allison tran's.
