I have been gone from Cincy for 5 years now so I am a little out of date with the shops up there anymore.

Going to be shopping with my dad for his concealed carry piece.

Target World is a no go as when they screwed me on my Shotgun purchase many years ago I vowed to never spend another dime there and I will hold to that.

My list includes
Shooter's in Loveland (how much is range time???)
One Shot in Newtown.

Is Costello's in College Hill still open????
I heard someone mention a new place in Finneytown

Any others I am forgetting or have come up since I left??

I was at shooter's last saturday, the place was so busy, I almost couldn't get to any of the cases. They probably had 25-30 people inside at all times, very crazy. So bring your patience. What is he shopping for?

I shop at Hunters Den in Amelia. If there is a show then he will be there.

Costello's is now North College Hill gun shop, and the one time I set foot in there, the guys couldn't have been bigger assholes.

The guy in Finneytown mostly sells at shows, but I think he'll sell out of his house too if he's not at a show. http://www.kylesgunshop.com/

Gary's Gun in Fairfield has always treated me fairly, although I haven't been there in 5+ years.

Gary's Gun in Fairfield has always treated me fairly, although I haven't been there in 5+ years.

That's the other place I wasn't going to recommend. I walked in the door, and all I heard was N-bomb this, and N-bomb that, and somebody needs to take that N-bomb running the country out before somebody crashes a plane into one of our houses. And that was from the guy behind the counter.

If that was Gary (glasses) then I wouldn't be back either!!!!

BTW that link for Kyles, the prices on the 380 auto ammo means I might have to start looking for a new toy!

EDIT: Nevermind looking, seems Kyle has what I want, SCORE!

If there is a gun show this weekend, that is the place to go....if you are buying, it is worth the 8 bucks to get in...

Don't go to Peterson's gun shop that dude in there was an ass to a customer who recommended a ccw class to anouther customer. He told him to shut up and screamed at him because that would cut into his kick back he would get from the class he was pushing.

I bought mine from Kyle (kylesgunshop) at Bill Goodman's up in Dayton a few weekends ago, super nice and had a good price on my XDm. He said he was going to be opening a shop in Finneytown in the near future, but it isn't open yet. Nice guy though.:bigthumb

I went into Peterson's this past Saturday. The guy didnt seem to bad.I have heard from several different people about his attitude towards customers, But he seemed ok. I went in to have some night sights pressed into my Beretta. No yelling or bad mouthing any one. But he doesnt have much in there. Seems to like revolvers though, thats for sure.

its a drive from Cincy but Deadwood guns and ammo in carlisle ohio is the place to go. 937-305-3409. im friends with the owner. all of his prices are good. its super relaxed and everyone is very friendly. you can go in there not be rushed or feel like you need to buy something. its a good place to just go and BS with some good guys. its kinda a small place but they got everything from .22-50cal. anything you may need to defend your self at home or during a zombie attack can be found in there.

+1 For Deadwood, Roger is a great guy to deal with, I've bought a few things from him and had him do a couple ffl transfers for me.

Well he has decided on the Sig 250 Subcompact in 9mm.
Says he has a couple bills to pay off first.

But it's a step in the right direction for a guy that always forbid guns to be in his house.
