Yes its true. I believe explorers went to P heads in later 96

I bought a late model 96 Explorer motor, it came with P heads...

easy just look at the end 3bar is gt40s and 4 bar is gt40ps.....

When I went to merrillville, indiana, I bought some heads from an early 97 and they were p heads... even though they told me they weren't... I got lucky though and did also come home with a set of regular 40's
